What's a good editing software for for Windows besides Windows Movie Maker?

I love making videos on youtube, and I want to edit my videos to make them better. WMM is good, but I think it could be better. I want something like what Jennxpenn has or Supermac18. I already googled what editing software they use, but it is only for Mac computers. I desperately want a new computer, but my parents say no. :( If you find any websites, please tell me those also. Thanks!
