I just dont understand what hes getting at?

k i have an old bf we broke up cause i was pretty sure he was tryin to fool around i still like him lots now and when we split he keeps talkin about how we coulda worked things out an stuff and how we could still b together and possibly mayb trying to get back together he usually brings it up when hes horny somtimes not and iv asked him if he wants to try again and he just evaded the question should i even try to get back with him or leave it as it is and does he really even want to get back together
