If you want to do trips? Get a bike that's comfortable. The only way to find that out is to ride them. It's personal for everyone. If you have a bike that's not comfortable you will need to stop often to stretch or take breaks. I have a VMax. It's not comfortable on long trips at all for me, but it sure is fun in town.
